Wren is a girl around Oak’s age who was tortured and called the Queen of Teeth, despite the fact that it was clear in the previous series that she wasn’t in control of what was going on around her at the time.
Granted, this story isn’t about them, but about Suren (Wren) and Oak. So, when The Stolen Heir duology was announced, I was eager to see how things had progressed since Cardan and Jude were elevated to the position of High King and Queen. I enjoyed Holly Black’s Folk of the Air trilogy, as well as other stories set in the Elfhame universe.
